Questions
What people ask before they submit
What is included in a distribution package?
Every package lists its distribution scope, word limit, images and links, video support, the editorial review level and the reporting you receive.
How much does a press release cost?
Packages start at $300 (Basic) and $550 (Standard). Individual outlets are available from $50. All prices are published on the Pricing page.
Is there a word limit?
Yes, and it varies by package. Releases over the limit can still be submitted, and we quote the difference before distributing.
Are links included in the release?
Yes. Each package specifies how many links you can include. Links appear on the release page published on the Vertex newsroom.
Do you edit my release?
We review structure, dateline, boilerplate and formatting, and flag anything that would weaken the release. We do not rewrite your message without approval.
What is the difference between publication and media pickup?
Publication means your release goes live on the Vertex newsroom at a permanent URL. Media pickup is an independent editorial decision by a third party, which we do not guarantee.
Can I schedule a release for a specific date and time?
Yes. You can nominate a publication date and time during submission and we confirm it during review.
What is your refund policy?
Before distribution begins a submission can be cancelled and refunded in full. Once distributed the work is complete and cannot be recalled.
Ready to put your news on the wire?.
Choose a package, submit your release, and get a published URL with a distribution report you can forward.
